Book Fair 2013


St Brendan's Book Fair will open after school on Wednesday, 31st July and be open before and after school until it closes on the morning of Tuesday, 6th August.
Book Fair will also be open late during Yr 3-8 Student Conferences.  


Opening Hours:                        
Wed 31st July   2.40pm-8.00pm
Thur 1st August 8.40am-9.15am
                 and    2.40pm-5.00pm
Fri 2nd August  8.40am-9.15am
                 and    2.40pm-3.15pm
Mon 5th August 8.40am-9.15am
                 and    2.40pm-3.15pm
Tues 6th August 8.40am-9.15am

Books to Film - 2013

There are a number of movies due out later this year which are based on popular children's or young adult fiction.

The second installment of The Hobbit is set to hit cinemas in December.



The second installment of Percy Jackson and the Olympians is due for release in early August, and in NZ cinemas about the 15th of August.



AND the much anticipated second installment of The Hunger Games is due for release in cinemas on about the 22nd of November. You can watch a trailer for The Hunger Games : Catching Fire HERE and a newer one HERE (updated 24 July).
